Friday, March 26, 2010. I'm cruising through the week! Here's an update of the first doctor's visit: it was pretty uneventful! They took my medical history, took my urine, and took my blood. Then they gave me a bag of free magazines and ads and I made my next/first "real" appointment. We'll be able to hear the heart beat on April 15! Some fun facts: the baby has doubled in size again. It seems like I should do something momentous to begin the countdown. A paper chain? Seems long. Spend $100 on clothes? Fun, but probably not realistic. To Do's: two baby showers these next two weekends - shout-out to Michelle and Julie for putting them together, thank you! A car seat to install, a dresser/bookshelf to get from Ikea, a hospital bag to pack, some baby clothes to wash/hang dry, rocking chair legs to tighten, and plenty of naps to take! See you soon, baby! Cycle – journey of tears & joy. On: August 2, 2013. Yuan’s learning to cycle picture journey. Started him on the balance bike first as i find the concept interesting- learning how to balance first before anything else. It took him a while to get use to this new toy, before long he is ‘flying’ ard in parks. Gong gong then rewarded him, brought him a real bike(with pedals and no training wheels). Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Jeff and I arrived at Mercy Hospital at 5:30am on July 5th to be induced. The previous night was Independence Day, so there were lots of fireworks going off all night!
