http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/08/2013-butterflies-efgh.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. 2013 Butterflies: E.F.G.H. Below is one of my favorite pictures. It shows the four later stages of development. A caterpillar in its “J” formation before it envelopes into a chrysalis. Then 2 chrysalises already formed and our first newly hatched butterfly. The black chrysalis below is just a few hours from emerging into a butterfly. The green one on the left is about a week out. And also he was anything but shy. God’s Grace has a hand in this incredible process. I know...For our...

The Eid's Have It: Summer is a Blur.
http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/08/summer-is-blur.html
Sunday, August 11, 2013. Summer is a Blur. Does anyone else know what happened to July 2013? It was here because I remember things like the 4th of July, a few great trips to Sandy Lake and overall a lot of fun with friends. I think I may have even turned another year older—but now, all of a sudden, I looked at the calendar and it is August. Crazy. Nope Not yet. Just stay away a little bit longer…. And an overall feeling of warm fuzzies when the days end. The girls are playing beautifully together-jus...

The Eid's Have It: The French Fry Story
http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2011/10/french-fry-story.html
Thursday, October 20, 2011. The French Fry Story. Fresh from memory, less than 24 hours old, here is how it really went during the two days Mikayla decided to stick house flies and French fries up her nose. 8221; Brent muttered something along the lines of “I would bet money she ate them". It was all funny until she looked at me, pointed and said “NOSE! 8221; Wide eyed, Brent and I looked at each other and asked her if she stuck the flies up her nose. “Yeah. Yeah! This has got to be a joke”. That is a cr...

The Eid's Have It: The ABC’s of our Butterflies
http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-abcs-of-our-butterflies.html
Thursday, August 16, 2012. The ABC’s of our Butterflies. Hung snug in their chrysalis for just about ten days until we started to see changes occurring. Our first beautiful lady butterfly emerged from her chrysalis a few weeks ago. The outer casing of the chrysalis was getting darker as the days and even hours went by. When we checked Saturday morning we knew it wouldn’t be long as we could see the definite colors and patterns of the monarch butterfly. By the time we finished lunch she was moving her win...

The Eid's Have It: The long awaited 4th Birthday
http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-long-awaited-4th-birthday.html
Monday, August 12, 2013. The long awaited 4th Birthday. You woke up the day before your birthday and asked me this, “Is today, tomorrow? 8221; You were so anxious for the big day you waited and counted down the days until it finally arrived. You woke up on August 6th, stumbled out of your bedroom with a mop of red hair covering your eyes and said “Am I four today? 8221; I finally got to say “Happy Birthday Baby, you are four! When we got home-it was. Time to open presents! The day ended with a dinner of ...

The Krazy Koss Days: Genius Bar
http://kosskraziness.blogspot.com/2014/04/genius-bar.html
The Krazy Koss Days. I am pretty sure my kids are geniuses. And then in walks Jacob. Mom me and Dylan cracked open eggs and then we put them in milk! Arms up in the air, smile on his face). Me- Hmmm. Interesting. This can't really be what he means. Chris and I smirk and giggle. And then in walks Dylan with a jug of milk. And there were eggs in it. Big old smile on their faces. They were so proud. They "thought it would be cool.". But, nope. I see the ice cream in the frig. This was all so worth the mess.

The Eid's Have It: 2nd Grade: 2013

Saturday, September 14, 2013. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Why Do I blog? Why do I blog? I blog for my two little girls so that when I am long gone, soaking up guilt-free sun rays, laying on a big fluffy cloud up in Heaven, they can remember. They can remember the simple things. Why not just journal? Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. 2013 Butterflies: E.F.G.H. Summer is a Blur.
