Photos of Ravens on Mt Hood. Photos of Ravens on Mt Hood. Photos of Ravens on Mt Hood. I meant to go skiing when Raven caught my eye, flirting in the trees behind the parking lot at Timberline Lodge. Were there ten, twenty, maybe thirty? I watched from the car. They flew with delight, diving and rising, weaving in and out and around snow covered trees. One of them was an invitation to attend a Vodou ceremony in Haiti, the night of Halloween. Vodou as well as Catholicism, is practiced by the majority of Haitian people. Next thing I know the driver’s left hand goes in one smooth motion from wiping dirt from his eyes to pushing into his left jeans pocket, which is pressed tightly to his body from sitting on a moving motorcycle.
