If you bite the bullet and buy passes to them, you can go any old time and feel like it's free. ish. We have passes to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, and Sea World. It's the tree lot at the Veteran's Thrift Store ( where I do quite a bit of my shopping ). It's become a fun tradition to take a family photo in front of the tree that chooses us. It's been a challenge finding the time to make it happen, so I've just clustered these three summer events together. Let's face it, it's no secret that my posts are just about the photos. The really good stuff often happens after the party is over. Thursday, May 17, 2012. I could not have asked for a more lovely Mother's Day. These are the sweet things I woke up to. After church we took a picnic lunch that Pops had put together to Balboa Park. We just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful day. Lots of cuddles on the blanket. The water lily pond. Our walk towards the fountain. We always end up heading over there when at the park, because it's such a hit with The Little Pie. I am one Lucky Mama.

Thus, another gargantuan post to cover the highlights of the past season into this one. We wondered if there was much point in taking a not even three year old to Disneyland, but Annie absolutely loved everything we did, and pretty much smiled ear to ear the whole time, so that was the point.
