Warm baguette and soft cheeses for starters; bacon-wrapped scallops and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus for a main course; a quick food nap then champagne, strawberries and chocolate for dessert. I've never done Beer Can Chicken before, and by all accounts it is an easy and awesome way to do chicken. Turns out that was totally true. Ate it with grilled parsnips, garlic bread and a spinach salad. Nice!

Thu, Nov. 15th, 2007, 07:07 am. How cool is this? I got a call from Memorial Blood Centers yesterday. I think my 56 days or whatever the time span is between donations is up because this is the third call in a month. They need my blood type (O ) so I'll go in next week. Tue, Jul. 22nd, 2008, 06:07 pm. New Sci Fi Show. Just perusing scifi.com to see what the BSG status is and came across the trailer for the new "Caprica" show, apparently set a generation before BSG. My favorite part is that Eric Stoltz is in it, and, better yet, so is Paula Malcomson (Trixie on "Deadwood," the late Colleen Pickett on "Lost"). I'm hoping it's good. Mon, Jun. 16th, 2008, 10:00 am. So, what do you think? Alright, other victims of wisdom tooth extraction:. I got one of my wisdom teeth (lower right) out on Friday around 1:00 pm. I was only given a local anesthetic, not put under at all. It went relatively quickly- they had to break the tooth up into a bunch of pieces. The dentist made a joke that I'm sure he makes to lots of people, "It's a good thing we don't charge you by the piece." Ba-dum-chssh. But I ramble. Should it still hurt?
