The Back of Beyond Paddle Race. May 14, 2016 *A Paddle Race down The Colorado River. Moab, Utah. Colorado River just outside of Moab, Utah. This is a flat water race. Leaving Moab going north on HWY. 191 turn east on Hwy 128(river road) and drive to the staging area at Hittle Bottom 23 miles from the turn off. The course will start 7 miles upstream at Dewey Bridge which is MP 29.8 and the finish will be Hittle Bottom MP 23 on Hwy. 128. Elite Race will have a different start and finish then the Open Race.
