We’ve made it to Malaysia! Friday the 13th 😱. Pai in the sky. We’ve made it to Malaysia! So our Friday the 13th flight to Kuala Lumpur ran smoothly and I landed in Malaysia. The flight took an hour less than i thought because of the time difference I didn’t know about (I probably should look some information up from time to time…). It is slower, less frequent and seldom on time. It will however remain one of our treasured memories of our time in Sri Lanka. If traveling around Sri Lanka, the train is the way to do it. It’s economical as 2nd class tickets are generally under $1 CAD and if the train has an observatory, you can pre-book seats for 750 LKR ($5.75 CAD). March 24, 2012.
