Pinegri-la was once the site of an isolated ranger station. The old ranger house is now filled with bunk beds, but the surrounding land is still protected within the Shasta-Trinity wilderness area. Friday afternoon - Sunday noon, September 12-14, 2003. Three leisurely days and two overnights. We know some of you might not be able to stay for the entire time. Please just let us know when you'll arrive and how long you'll be able to stay with us. Saturday is the Big Day (Saturday late afternoon specifically) so if you can only make it up for one day, that would be it. You can fly into:. San Francisco, CA (4.5-hour drive, about 270 miles). We'll try to fill in more details as we figure out the weekend's details. Until then, this schedule should give you a good sense of what will be happening. We're trying to arrange the clambake for Saturday night. As you'll see, the schedule is loose, and we'll be taking a rather relaxed approach to timing. Que sera sera! Hike and swim. Possible visit to Weaverville Joss House. Bonfire and rib dinner. 12 to 3 pm. Relax and chat with friends, scrub clams. 8 pm - late.
