We see him pop in and out of the bushes now and then, bringing home whatever he's collected that day. Earlier today I was thinking I hadn't seen him in a while. One day, I'm not sure how long ago, Colby was looking through our bookshelves for something new to read and found "The Treasure Principle," by Randy Alcorn. It's a book about generous giving, but I'm pretty sure that's not what attracted him. The small size and the fact that it was a grown-up book really sealed the deal. Why it's called The Treasure Principal!

We had a nice weekend in Lancaster, and celebrated Kyle's birthday with both families:) Kyle got to go to the driving range for a bit of golf practice with his dad, and they played a game of pool:) (who won? I'm sure this statement brings to mind some beautiful, tropical location and you are feeling jealous that you too did not get to visit this enchanted land! Well, you can stop feeling jealous because The Land of Enchantment is New Mexico! The kids did great! Although Alex didn't sleep . at all! This little guy was a trooper! Thursday, January 5, 2012. Alex is 6 months old! Sorry about the snotty nose - Alex celebrated his 6 month birthday with a bad cold and he HATES to have his nose wiped :(. This was a big month for accomplishments! Here's a few of the things that Alex is doing now:. He is rolling over all the time! It took him awhile to get the hang of it, but once he started there was no stopping him! I would set him down on his playmat and 10 minutes later he was off of the mat and facing a totally different direction.
