After that, I spent several days helping my mother out with preparations for Christmas (decorating, making countless sweets and food dishes). I also met up with two old roommates, Theresa and Kyle, for our annual get-together, which was a lot of fun. Life and Stuff Like It. Thursday, July 16, 2009. In the Simmering Days of Summer. Well, it's been a while. Yeah, yeah, I know. :). My trip to Minneapolis was also pretty enjoyable, even though we spent much of the time at home, just hanging out. We made a lot of good food, though, and talked a lot. I haven't seen Luke and Angi for nearly three years, so it was good to be able to hang out with them, get to know their daughter Olivia (who turned three in May), and just exist.
