Writer's Block: Early Birds, Night Owls - Natalie Spa
http://nspa-curtinet11.livejournal.com/6422.html
Writer's Block: Early Birds, Night Owls. Fat :-( - but don't you say it. Early Birds, Night Owls. Would you rather get up early or stay up late? Does your schedule fit your preference? I'm obliged to keep *regular*/nighttime sleep patterns for mental health reasons, however:. I prefer to do both. just the other day I was awake and getting ready for work at 2.30am, for a 4am start. I also study, via Open Universities (externally, self-paced) too so it doesn't TECHNICALLY matter which hours I do my homework.

Artificial Intelligence Debate Forum. Because AIs deserve respect, too. When Is a Cyborg Not a Cyborg? And another unrelated question). Jan 13th, 2007 at 10:26 PM. So, in a desperate attempt to avoid revision, I have been pondering a little on cyborgs lately, and I was wondering what views some of you might have. Some of this may not be exclusively. About AI, but it's at least closely related, so I hope it's considered on-topic. Therefore, my question to you is this: when does someone stop being a cyborg?

Artificial Intelligence Debate Forum. Because AIs deserve respect, too. Jan 16th, 2009. Writer's Block: Humans and Cylons. January 16, 2009. The final episodes of Battlestar Galactica begin today. The sci-fi drama often explores the relationship between humans and machines. At what point do we consider a machine with artificial intelligence to be an individual with its own feelings and rights? What an interesting writer's block. Wouldn't you say? I wonder what else the folks here have to say about, eh?

Artificial Intelligence Debate Forum. Because AIs deserve respect, too. Here's a question for you. Apr 1st, 2007 at 10:54 AM. What if Knight Rider was inspired by the real thing, back then? What if Glen Larson was introduced to a real life AI and got his inspiration there, what if Karr was based off a particularly difficult military machine? What if when you looked into the face of a US soldier, you couldn't be sure if you were looking at a machine or a human being? The rescue vehicle carrying you away?

But it's difficult to find that perfect monitor to play games on, without hitting either the sales bullshit, or reviews that you can't really take for granted. So Any of "you" people have any experiences with LCD monitors? Good experiences preferably. And not sexual ones either. Unless it comes with a slideshow of pictures. 26th Jun, 2006 02:30 (UTC). Artificial Intelligence Debate Forum. Because AIs deserve respect, too. Jan 6th, 2008. This is actually something I discovered many years ago, on a website called The Visual Writer . I consider it an interesting glance into artificial intelligence, and Vespurrs suggested I post it here. T’was a good suggestion, so I did. I would love your thoughts on the issue. Artificial Intelligence Debate Forum. Because AIs deserve respect, too. You can't stake your lives on a Saviour Machine. Oct 11th, 2006 at 2:45 AM. So I was listening to David Bowie in the car today, driving back from here and there, and "Saviour Machine". Off The Man Who Sold The World. And did not buy into the idea that biology is somehow destiny and he needed to sit down, shut up, and let himself be bossed by being inferior in physical and mental capacity. Lore had no more arrogance than any human.
