Wednesday, April 3, 2013. So I decided to do a simple silver and black motor. Black Valve cover and oil pan and silver block and head. All of the other stuff is going to be silver and black including all of my AN fittings so i guess that works out ok. My hydraulic press made short work of this. Also decided to finish painting the engine. Starting with the oil pan. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. This weekend was chaos. As most of you know I had a date with a local paint shop on Monday and had to sand through 9 inches of clear coat to get the car to where it needed to be in order to be painted. During this process I found several pieces that needed further body work and did the best I could to prep for that. Thank god my buddy Mauricio came over to help. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Rear wheel bearings finished! Now that I have the axles out of the old outer bearings and all cleaned up, its time to prep and install the new rear wheel bearings. Pack those bearings extremely well with grease. I'm sure there are better wheel bearing greases out there but this one was listed for Japanese wheel bearings and I don't know any better. :). Sealed side goes toward the wheel studs. Slather the bearing surfaces on the axle with anti-seize. Posted by Alex Straffin.
