BREAD FOR MY BUDDY. In 2015, Badisa Tygerberg delivered the following services:. 600 foster children received foster care. 399 foster care cases were managed. 176 family reunion cases were managed. 337 children received life skills. 360 children were educated about children’s rights. 272 children received life skills at our holiday programmes. 30 children were taught how to read. 53 children benefitted from our Early Development Programmes. 2770 children received lunch on a weekly basis.

BREAD FOR MY BUDDY. BREAD FOR MY BUDDY. BREAD FOR MY BUDDY. BADISA cares for others with the help of parents and children. The parents and children of Parow-East Primary provide 2 703 sandwiches weekly to primary school children in the Ravensmead and Uitsig areas. Badisa delivers these sandwiches on a daily basis and once a year the children get to meet each other on Buddy Day. A day organised by Badisa. This project teaches young children to care for others in need and breeds a social conscience.

BREAD FOR MY BUDDY. A R460 k target exists for fundraising for our current financial year. This is the shortfall between our operational budget and the monies we receive from the Department of Social Development. Any donations made to Badisa Tygerberg are subject to an Article 18A tax rebate certificate which is tax deductible in the hands of the donor. We also require the following donations in kind:. Food parcels for the children our day mothers look after. Books and facilities for our reading project.
