Mark Remembers: March 2015
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 28, 2015. April 17-21, 2014. Time to remember last year's Easter! Thursday, April 17. In the morning I went up to the JFSB for the French Language Fair. I went into the foreign language lounge area, and one of the French professors assigned me and two others to be in charge of Le gare. The kid thought "collège" meant college, so she had to say in English, "What middle school? Today I helped out at the French Language Fair. It was funner than I expected, just saying, 'Bonjour, o. I worked,...

Mark Remembers: Pioneer Day, 2012-14
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015/07/pioneer-day-2012-14.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. Pioneer Day, 2012-14. A few years ago, I made a post about Pioneer Day. So I'm going to remember those that have happened since that time. In the morning I wanted to pick apricots so my mom could make something with them. Nathaniel wanted to help me, so I went out with him and he climbed on top of our swingset to reach the fruit. I put my arm around him, and he kept saying, "I got it! Nathaniel said, "I didn't know! I think it was a little boring, so I made a blog post. About pio...

Mark Remembers: Patriotic treats
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015/07/patriotic-treats.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Therefore, I'm going to remember the patriotic desserts I've had in my life. Here is some basic information about this list:. 1) This only includes things that I have personally eaten. I saw some patriotic candy corn the other day, but I haven't had them, so they're not on the list. 2) Some things on the list aren't strictly dessert, so I could eat them at any time (e.g. pretzels), but they are still fun to include. Red, white, and blue popsicles are the one thing I can count on ...

Mark Remembers: January 2015
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. When I was a kid, like most kids, I liked to imagine things. So I'm going to remember the things I imagined when I was five and younger. When I was a very small kid, my dad would put me in a backpack and go jogging with me. (I know, right? I remember hearing birds (I don't know what kind) and I imagined they were saying, "Big Bird! I was a Sesame Street. One of my bath toys was a little man who could sit in a little boat. I think this was it:. Our side and backyard have some int...

Mark Remembers: July 23
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-23.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. I'm going to remember what I can about the day before Pioneer Day. However, since I haven't really considered Pioneer Day as a full holiday, that will make it a little hard. My brother took my nephews swimming, but Nathaniel didn't want to go, so my mom took him with her as she went other places. She ended up going to Susanne's house to watch Bountiful's parade. We do have dogs! Do you have any cats? We do have cats! We do have birds! This is my journal for the day:. I believe that...

Mark Remembers: May 2015
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. July 1-5, 2014. Memorial Day weekend has me thinking about patriotic holidays- specifically the Fourth of July, so I'm going to remember what I can about the Fourth of July last year. I got up earlier than usual today because I needed to call Reid. He wants me to create his Wikipedia page, so I've been trying to do that. During my lunch break, I went to Winegar's. After work, I did some light organizing, then played some Nintendo. Some number in the thousands]? Where did the sun go?

Mark Remembers: July 6
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-6.html
Sunday, July 5, 2015. I'm going to remember what I can about two days after Independence Day, July 6. After writing my blog. For the day, I went to a ward prayer at the lawn of Regency Apartments. I stayed a long time talking with people. There was a nineteen-year-old girl who was a little awkward who asked why I majored in English language if I didn't talk much. One guy was wearing a flag tie similar to one I own, but I wasn't wearing it because the Fourth of July was over. Which is just what President ...

Mark Remembers: Youth Conference 2002
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2015/08/youth-conference-2002.html
Sunday, August 2, 2015. Youth conference was when I was thirteen in 2002. The theme for the conference, organized by Chantelle Christensen, was "Stand in Holy Places.". Our first activity was to hike Ensign Peak. We parked near the trailhead, and I remember that there was discussion that Karl Malone (or was it John Stockton? So I thought they said "If you could hike. To Kolob," and I imagined it was some 70s rock song, since I didn't know that Kolob was uniquely Mormon from the book of Abraham.

Mark Remembers: Pioneer Day
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2012/07/pioneer-day.html
Sunday, July 22, 2012. With Pioneer Day being in two days, I'm going to try to remember as many details as I can about the holiday. However, despite being a Mormon, a Utahn, and a descendant of pioneers, I don't really think of the 24th of July as a full holiday. One problem I have is distinguishing my memories of Pioneer Day from my memories of Independence Day. After church, I was able to find a PDF version of The Friend. Then I combined my two assembled pictures and posted them on Seen @ BYU. FunnyDid...

Mark Remembers: December 2014
http://memoriesfrommark.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Today is December 30, so I'm going to remember the December 30s of the past. It was our last full day in California, and I was wearing my red-orange pants. While the other adults had gone someplace, Ya-ping wanted me to accompany the boys to the park at their apartment complex. They showed me how to get there, and I supervised them playing, particularly Nathaniel. Preston said, "Look at Nathaniel! Because he was staring at a baby girl. The roads in Spokane were crazy. Snow...
