Heading over to the Flower Dome, I managed to get a quick picture of the royal couple when they were being driven in a buggy to their next destination in the gardens. Happy Lunar New Year! Thank you to the Loo family for hosting us this Chinese New Year! It was awesome knowing that Singaporeans overseas are still so committed to making local dishes. This has honestly felt like the most Festive Chinese New Year since I’ve been in Madison. I think that skyping with relatives back home, doing some spring cleaning, having a reunion dinner on snow day or even the simple effort of wearing red or new clothes creates that atmosphere of home. Now a hand at making Rojak😀.
