The Society and Museum Today. The museum is located on the corner of Shirley Street and Elizabeth Avenue. The collection includes historical, anthropological and archaeological artefacts and spans more than 500 years of Bahamian history. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (except public holidays). Saturday 10:00 am - 12:00 noon (except public holidays). The Museum will be closed during the months of July and August.
