A protest by the anti-war group Code Pink disrupted the Unconventional Women symposium Monday in Denver, delaying House Speaker Nancy Pelosis talk with former U.S. Ambassador Swanee Hunt at the Buell Theatre. Sunday, April 8, 2007. Rosie Mendez rides in NY Critical Mass. March Critical Mass in NYC was the first ride since the new police regulations went into effect requiring a permit for any gathering of 50 or more cyclists. The police didn't enforce the new rule per say but they did issue 50 traffic tickets and make up to five arrests. Tuesday, January 9, 2007. Oaxaca Protesters Describe Jail Beatings, Abuse by Police. Many of newly released protestors have said they were beaten in jail and describe abuse at the hands of police. Scores of other protesters remain in jail including Flavio Sosa, a leader of APPO. Sosa was arrested in Mexico City the day before he was to resume negotiations with the governor to resolve the conflict. Meanwhile, the federal police have begun withdrawing from the center of Oaxaca. Sunday, January 7, 2007.

Monday, May 28, 2007. Cyclists rode in memory of Anthony Delgado for Brooklyn's Critical Mass ride on May 11, 2007. Anthony was struck by an SUV. While riding his bike on April 29, 2007. Family and Friends met the ride for a memorial at the intersection of Palmetto Street and Central Avenue in Bushwick NY.
