Saturday, May 25, 2013. Her birthday always falls on the last week of school, if not the last day, so needless to say, it's BUSY! Opening her presents that morning. SO glad they finally made legos for girls! Her one request - stuff for her American Girl doll. So, I made her some outfits and found some cute shoes. Friday, March 29, 2013. Easter Pageant and Mission Calls. We haven't made it to the Mesa Temple Easter Pageant in a couple years, mostly just out of trying to schedule it, so this year we picked a date before so we'd be sure and schedule it in. We got there early with blankets and pillows ready to sit on the lawn to watch, but when we saw how close we could get in the chairs we decided to take it - 7th row in the middle! Friday, February 28, 2014. Our High School put on Hairspray for their Musical this year. Jamie was so excited to try out - she loves doing plays! One concern was that it was at the same time as the Gilbert Temple Cultural Celebration. But, the directors were super supportive and were able to move the last performance so these kids could still be in it - probably 1/3of the cast was LDS. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. GUESS WHO'S GOING TO BE A COUGAR! Erin has been checking the mail and her email patiently. Since December……. They were supposed to find out by February 28th…….IT FINALLY CAME at like 11:00 at night! We were SO EXCITED! We kind of bleed blue. Lafe and I both graduated from BYU, my Dad graduated from BYU, my Grandpa Allan graduated from BYU (and played football for them - cool! Erin's Acceptance Letter (email). She used to be this one - she was born at BYU!

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Erin was invited to "Homecoming"! It was the same day as Homecoming, but about 13 guys got together and decided to do their own Homecoming Dance - LOVED the idea! For the activity, they went to this really big park and played Hunger Games with squirt guns, etc. They had to where a dark shirt under a white shirt so that they could tell when they were soaked, which meant they were "killed". Sounded really fun! Erin and Taylor Cox. All ready for Trunk-or-Treat! So hard to believe.

Friday, September 28, 2012. I convinced Ethan to try out for choir this year, and he made Concert Choir - the top choir at the school! They needed guys, but he does have a great voice and pitch) Last night was his first performance - I think they did a great job. It was so fun to watch him - I think he might like being in choir :). Wednesday, October 16, 2013. South Carlsbad Beach, CA. For Fall Break, we went with a bunch of friends in the ward over to Carlsbad State Beach in California. We all camped right on the bluff which was so great to be able to be right on the beach like that. We came about 2 days after everyone else, and apparently they had great weather.we brought the cold. Our first night - Ya, they weren't going to get wet. Notice Talin doesn't have a shirt, he was a lost cause. Ya, it was COLD! Wise words for posterity?

Just imagine if you were one of the first people to hear that He had risen and how you would have RUN to see the tomb empty. So grateful and happy it was empty. The Easter Bunny came.
