Humpback Whale Roca Partida. Diving at Revillagigedo Islands, Roca Partida, Mexico. The Revillagigedos Archipelago, more commonly called Socorro Islands is located in the eastern Pacific Ocean approximately 250 miles south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico of the southern tip of the Baja peninsula. People think the recently spotted white whale is the famed Migaloo, an adult whale first spotted in 1991. Migaloo and his “son” are two of them, and a third whale has black spots on its tail.

Two days before harvest the birds DEVOURED the crop! I was invited to the Spring Wine and Art festival at La Casa Vieja last Sunday, April 18, 2010. Thom Toscano organized the presentation of 16 wines from the artisan winemakers, giving wine lovers the opportunity to be the judge in a blind tasting.
