Debbie L, an experienced Baja traveler sent us this road report for most of the west coast! We left Bandon, OR on 10/22 for our trek down the Baja to our house in Los Barriles. The Federales did feel it would be open later this evening via detours and therfore expect a slow trip down to Ensenada. They really recommned people to wait a day or so before trying to pass these areas and it is still raining in Guerro Negro at the Baja/ Baja Sur border in the middle of the pennisula so driving all the way south can be difficult at ths time.
