The Weekly Baking Challenge. Bake #50 … Flowerpot Bread. January 1, 2016. For Christmas I received a thoughtful gift of a bread baking kit for how to make bread rolls in flower pots. I thought that this challenge would be a good way to use this as my first experiment with packet mix bread. I love the pots, I will absolutely use them again, and even though the bread wasn’t perfect, it was still delicious smothered in butter and homemade gooseberry jam. Bake #49 … Ice Ice Baby. This recipe has been adapted from Nigella Lawson’s ‘How To Be A Domestic Goddess’ and have been made at the request of my boyfriend and his friend who both adore the Tesco vanilla crowns. They were relatively easy to pull together, but unfortunately fell down a bit in the cooking. They burst open and lost the crown like appearance. Apparently they were tasty, but there is certainly bags of room for improvement.
