Starting Life at 30. Thursday, November 8, 2012. This Is What Happens When You Don't Say No. So after last year's Halloween's snowstorm. Followed up promptly by a winter of, well, no snow, Dave is very anxious to get this winter started and bring on what he predicts will be snow of epic proportions. I won't lie, I am kind of interested in it snowing so we can go cross-country skiing, since there are trails near our house. Dave's excited by that prospect as well, but he's more excited about this.

Monday, July 27, 2015. Blueberry Pie - minus elderberries. Grab a fork - - It's sooooooo yummy! Believe me, I had intended to make The ElderBlueberry Pie. I even found and ordered freeze-dried elderberries because no fresh ones seemed to be found here in Texas, at least not at present. I had read that red elderberries are not edible and, when picking, one must choose dark berries not red. So, I opened one of my bags of berries to make the pie:. It was the first time I made fondant roses and baked lady fingers (also used in Tiramisu). It is a Chocolate Chiffon Cake with pudding, strawberry and strawberry mousse filling.
