The fall has arrived and my favorite time of year is here. the annual leaf fall is begining. i've already blown the yard twice and filled almost 15 bags of leaves. the really big fall hasn't happened yet! I leave for france the day after the kids get out for break and while i'm gone cory will be leaving for summer camp. so i feel like i need a break! Then a few days in the loire valley seeing more chateau's. we're going to swing along the atlantic coast ending in barritz before heading back to barcelona. 3 weeks of driving and resting. Ok, i'll just go to missouri, they are our progressive neighbor to the east and only 5...

Today is the first day of summer and it's hot and muggy in kc. i spent most of the day in my new classroom putting stuff away. there isn't a budget to paint so i've. We went back to get our car and the adventure really began. the ticket machine wouldn't read out ticket. what to do? Buzz, buzz the recording said something carla couldn't understand. we went to the exit.no one in the office! Toto's on the move. I'm a native californian stuck in kansas. Friday, July 5, 2013. Some may not know that when my old husband left, Cory wanted me to have a dog. Never one for half measures, we got two Airedales, York and Darby. They were siblings. This was 8 years ago now. They have kept us loved and entertained in the intervening time. A friend nicked named them Pee and Poop. They are a bit like us.lovable, enthusiastic and a bit undisciplined! No matter what, they loved and are loved.

The weather has gotten colder and the leaves are now all in the yard. of course the last of them fell after it got cold so they're still in the yard and not at the landfill or compost pile. i can't really believe that there are only 2 weeks till my favorite holiday. work has been hectic but not so busy and the days have flown by.
