Monday, April 12, 2010. Stellie Bellie and Sisters. Someday she'll eat something else right? My dad used to sing to me, "Every party needs a pooper, that's why we invited you.party pooper.party pooper." We had a wonderful birthday lunch with the girls at Red Robin. I wanted to get a b-day picture outside and clearly Addie was not in the mood.I could hear my dad singing. I actually think the picts are quite funny! On the left you will see Stella's alter ego. Thursday, December 30, 2010. The girls were introduced to hot cocoa during Alex's mom's visit. They are big fans! Even cuter is they refuse to call it hot chocolate, preferring the British/Zimbabwean pronunciation of hot cocoa. This month we also helped the girls' beloved godfather, Dan, celebrate his 60th birthday. They helped arrange the candles on the cake! Stella's first mobile Christmas has resulted in lots of opportunity for learning self-control! Thursday, December 30, 2010.

Monday, August 23, 2010. It seems with all the activities of summer, it is so hard to keep up on the blog so here's a montage of the last few months. Above we are eating with our friends at Purple Burrito - a great cheap Mexican restaurant after church a few Sundays ago. Yummy fish tacos! The fact that Andy's Frozen Custard is less than 1 minute from our house, definitely increases our frequency of eating custard! While she is on furniture because she is likely to catapult. Herself off at any moment!

Friday, February 19, 2010. Every time we go to MOPS, the girls are given a balloon to take home before they leave. Sounds sweet and innocent right? Naptime came - there were no witnesses - I decided to quietly puncture the balloons and slowly let the air out and then feign ignorance when asked where the balloons went. All went as planned and hid the evidence in the trash can in my bathroom. The girls woke up from their naps and did not appear to notice the absence of the balloons. Me: Oh, I don't know.

Wednesday, June 02, 2010. Here's our sweet Mina. I often put Stella on a blanket outside with toys so she can watch her sisters whiz around the yard. Mina always ends up sitting down with Stella and entertaining her. It is incredibly sweet. Stella and Mina seem to look the most alike - only time will tell if their personalities are similar. She loved all the attention and the special ID bracelet she got at the hospital. It started smelling about a month ago! Mina is our "you do it" child! Such a contrast...

Monday, January 10, 2011. Below are some photos my friend and talented photographer, Natalie Bearden. Took the other day. She even made the sweet bathing cap Stella is wearing - oh yeah and she is 9 months pregnant! I love how these turned out - capturing the simplest little expressions and their beautiful smooth baby skin. Check out Natalie's other work on her blog. Natalie also has a little girl the same age as Addie and Mina. After we finished taking pictures, Kennedy jumped in the bath too!
