Thursday, January 24, 2008. His excellency Rostam Amir Bakhtiar died in January 17th 2008 in Kronberg Germany. His memorial service will be announced later for the family who live out side of Iran. Rostam Amir Bakhtiari was born at Esfahan on the 9th of Azar (December 1, 1917). He was the son of Youssef Khan Amir Mojahed who was the last son of Grand Ilkhani.
