Ramadan Update | Bakinginbahrain's Blog
https://bakinginbahrain.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/ramadan-update
September 2, 2009 @ 11:01 am. 183; { Uncategorized. Hi there everyone. I hope you are having a peaceful and blessed Ramadan. We all get really busy at this time of the year and I haven’t been able to post for a while. So here is an update of what I’ve been doing. First we have a cute little teddybear cake. It’s an 8 inch round chocolate cake with a Wilton’s mini standing teddybear on top. I get all my Wilton’s products at Tavola at the City Center. Heres a close-up of the roses. I’ll put those down...

August 20, 2009 @ 7:46 am. 183; { Uncategorized. I had a hard time with fondant roses so I thought I would try a simple cut-out flower this time. And so I made a field of lazy daisy cupcakes. The cupcakes are vanilla and the frosting is vanilla buttercream tinted green. The plain green cupcakes I sprinkled with some homemade green sugar. A field of vanilla lazy daisy cupcakes. The daisies drying. I made more than I needed because the petals tend to break off. I finally used the drape the piping bag over ...

August 19, 2009 @ 7:59 am. 183; { Uncategorized. Here are some cute little vanilla cupcakes I made for my husband and his friends. They’re all bikers so I thought they would get a kick out of this. I used vanilla cupcakes and the icing is buttercream frosting but I used almond flavor instead of vanilla. This went really well with the chocolate molded motorcycles on the top. Here's a closer look at the motorcycles. They are just plain chocolate. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
S’mores Balls | Bakinginbahrain's Blog
https://bakinginbahrain.wordpress.com/2009/08/05/smores-balls
August 5, 2009 @ 4:16 pm. 183; { Uncategorized. I read Bakerella. A lot. And all those little cake balls and oreo balls and nutterbutter balls got me thinking. About what else can be rolled into a ball and covered in chocolate. So today I tried S’mores Balls! Grind up the graham crackers in the food processor. Add marshmallow fluff and mix together by hand. Roll into balls. It helps if your hands are wet. Use enough marshmallow fluff to make the crumbs stick together. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Build a ...

September 9, 2009 @ 11:36 am. 183; { Uncategorized. Hi everyone. I had time this week to make some cupcakes so I decided to make some dark chocolate, cream-filled, ganache covered cupcakes. When I was little, these were sold as Hostess Cakes. They were yummy then and I think I did a pretty good job. Personalized with piped buttercream. A view of the creamy goodness inside. These cakes turned out great and the piping on top can be made to fit any occasion. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Tiffany Nguyen. }.

India's Bakes & Cakes
India's Bakes and Cakes. Forgive me blogsphere for I have sinned, it’s been over four months since my last post! Sadly I haven’t indulged in much baking recently but this week for a family birthday I decided to go all out and make a yummy. Key lime pie. I’ve seen a lot of tutorials/posts for key lime pies and thought I’d try my own version of it as it makes a lovely alternative to traditional sponge cakes.
