Friday, June 8, 2012. It is really simple and quite tasty! The ones I made above were made using a butter pecan cake mix. So bust out that doughnut maker and pump out a batch. Makes about 25 2" doughnuts. 1 box cake mix (any flavor of your choice). 1/4 C vegetable oil. 1) Mix together all of the ingredients. 2) Heat up your doughnut maker. 3) Transfer your dough mix into a gallon sized freezer bag. Monday, April 9, 2012. Chantilly Frosting #2 {Recipe}. I decided to try and make a simpler version of the chantilly frosting. I attempted in a past post. In this one you can taste the evaporated milk a little more but it uses a lot less ingredients and works just as well. I like it with the devil's food. Or a banana cake. This recipe will frost a 9x13 cake or two 9" round cakes. 1 1/2 sticks melted salted butter (3/4 cup). 1 C brown sugar. 5 oz can of evaporated milk. Posted by Alana Uyema.
