The Jay Blog: December 2005
http://thejayblog.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Number 17 is in the house. Saturday, December 31, 2005. The dying hours of this year are nearing, and as the bullpen doors swing open and the Sandman trots on to deliver the last couple of darting cutters on 2005, allow me to give a quick recap on the year. Highs, lows, turning points (most notably 12-7) and other stuff from June until today are well documented on this blog, and although I frequently use ways of expression that few (or maybe even - consider this - a. Number 17 is in the house. Sunday, August 28, 2005. Recap of the Summer of 2005. No, things are progressing, I've gone back to Aarhus to look into opening my penultimate semester, I've started playing baseball again after a break of eight months (this time I'm pitching relief instead of getting buried at right field), and I feel more happening than a month ago. So, positive stuff going on for me. Got polluted on Friday night, and went to a socalled 'cinnamon' party at Gux. Posted by M-Jay @ 9:05 PM.

Number 17 is in the house. Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Just a quick one for those out there who share my eye for grammatical peculiarities and like to have a laugh while working. I saw this one on a billboard commercial for a magazine, in Danish of course, but the joke works in both English and French as well:. I discovered Matisse on the toilet. I hope I'll get back to you with more true and funny examples later on. Posted by M-Jay @ 9:13 PM. So, how has my plan for this semester panned out so far?

The Jay Blog: January 2006
http://thejayblog.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Number 17 is in the house. Monday, January 16, 2006. All Kinds of Comparisons. The drama of the AFC divisional playoff game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight made me think, once again, about the different appeals of the sports that have seen me switch from primarily-European sports like cycling and soccer to US-sports like basketball, baseball and - when the playoffs are on - football in recent years. American sports are fundamentally different. Team dynamics is empha...

Number 17 is in the house. Thursday, February 16, 2006. Don't ever put the tying run on base. It's baseball wisdom, but it applies in any interpretation throughout life. Never let your ennemies break you down, keep improving at all times. I like pitching with no one on base; well, who doesn't? Posted by M-Jay @ 10:30 PM. The Big Jay Dogg. The Jay Blog: July 2005
http://thejayblog.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Number 17 is in the house. Sunday, July 17, 2005. Yeah, I guess I did, and I think it was last year. But like so many other things that's completely different for me now - the least of those things perhaps being my lucky number dropping 21 ticks - and this Stettinian stay has really drained me, not only physically, but it's also sucked the last mental marrow out of my bones. Guess I'm looking forward to see a chiropractor. À la recherche du temps perdu. Posted by M-Jay @ 8:10 PM. Saturday, July 16, 2005.
