『巴庫拉斯』(Bakurasu) 位於濁水溪中上游，是布農族巴庫拉斯社的舊址，巴庫拉斯是布農族語，意指河岸地勢平坦、水源豐沛的好地方。巴庫拉斯社在遷村之後人跡罕至，隨著歲月隱沒在山林之間，因為此地有著珍貴生態環境與豐富的人文史跡，1994年起農莊莊主在舊童校與駐在所的遺址基地上闢建農莊。基於尊重布農族的文化，保留當地的人文史跡，基地上的石板牆原封不動的加以保存，並請當時的布農族老師傅，依傳統工法蓋了一間道地的石板屋，光是在河床上拾尋石材便花了八個月的時間，成屋後一石一砌皆可看出布農族人的生活智慧與美學涵養
