balancing on two wheels: Coxwold Cyclists' Church Service
http://www.balancingontwowheels.blogspot.com/2015/05/coxwold-cyclists-church-service.html
Coxwold Cyclists' Church Service. You are the most colourful congregation I have all year! I rode down to Coxwold for the 89th Annual Church Service. Organised by the CTC. With St Michael's Church. This service has been held annually since 1927, and is an opportunity to remember those cyclists who served in both world wars, such as the Army Cyclist Corps. During our intercessions we prayed; "Almighty God, give to us and to all who use the roads the spirit of courtesy and goodwill, of carefulness and self...

The Apathy Square: March 2015
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
101 things I did before I died. Friday, 20 March 2015. Don't look at the Sun - you could die! How not to watch a Solar Eclipse. I went to look at a solar eclipse today. Although strictly speaking you're not allowed to look at a solar eclipse because you can go blind. Anyway, because there was one today and I'm not blind, I must not have really looked at it. No, it's Craighouse on the Isle of Jura. I'm just going behind the Moon for a bit, I won't be long. I saw some schoolchildren and they were all huddl...

101 things I did before I died. Friday, 1 May 2015. The World Snooker Championships - It's Political Correctness gone Missing in Action. Weren't glasses mental in the 80s? And I remember watching the snooker being a big family thing in the 80s. A family consisting of me, my mum, step dad Terry and my brother Phil. We didn't spend a lot of real quality time together, but we always enjoyed shouting at the telly together during the snooker. Hey Phil, it's only taken us 30 years to make it to the snooker!
The Apathy Square: Marie Curie Coast to Coast - In the Night Garden meets Man vs Food

101 things I did before I died. Tuesday, 24 June 2014. Marie Curie Coast to Coast - In the Night Garden meets Man vs Food. It's fair to say I probably underestimated how hard this weekend's coast to coast would be. Apart from the beginner's routes at Dalby and Hamsterley Forests where I usually get overtaken by little kids with stabilisers, and a bit of riding up and down kerbs occasionally, I don't really do off road. Technical riding is not a concept I'm even remotely familiar with. On the bus I mostly...
The Apathy Square: Sheep Farming for Beginners - The perks of doing voluntary work
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015/04/sheep-farming-for-beginners-perks-of.html
101 things I did before I died. Thursday, 30 April 2015. Sheep Farming for Beginners - The perks of doing voluntary work. Yesterday I was trying to explain to a group of young people what the point of voluntary work is. It can be a shocking concept to some people the idea of working without getting paid. Don't get me wrong, I like money as much as the next person, but sometimes it's just not a good enough reason to do things. Catching Lambs - easy once you know how. Because I'm sort of an expert in Engli...
The Apathy Square: A Freddo bar away from death - How I became a lazy cyclist
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-freddo-bar-away-from-death-how-i_17.html
101 things I did before I died. Thursday, 17 January 2013. A Freddo bar away from death - How I became a lazy cyclist. In the first few month of 2009 I hardly did any cycling at all. The tablets I'd been on since 2002 to treat my arthritis I think had stopped working. Since 2008 my symptoms had been getting a lot worse, and we almost didn't book a cycle tour in either 2008 or 2009, because both times I doubted whether I'd be up to it physically. Sunday 10th May 2009. A glass related puncture. How une...
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino!: 'Duathlon Doo', 'Triathlon Tim' call me what you like I've had a swim...

Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino! I dunno why anybody's doing this'. Sunday, 10 May 2015. Duathlon Doo', 'Triathlon Tim' call me what you like I've had a swim. This week I thought I would write out a basic training plan (below) and see if this would help motivate me. Monday was also the day that I paid £40 to enter the ballot for a place in the London 2016 Marathon. Do I really want to do this? Wednesday was a great day. On Wednesday, sticking to my plan, oh yes, I swam! Friday and my plan went to pot....
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino!: Bike.Run.Bike.Run.Fail
http://challengemenace.blogspot.com/2015/04/bikerunbikerunfail.html
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino! I dunno why anybody's doing this'. Saturday, 25 April 2015. BikeRun.Bike.Run.Fail. On reflection, the past week wasn't so bad on the training front. Well, it started well but just ended a trifle pants. Hmmm. Monday was a bicycle commute to work and back. On my trip to work I cycled a stretch I had never cycled before and indeed there be dragons! On my return I nearly killed a few folk because despite my bell ringing they just didn't want to move out of my way. If I was cer...
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino!: No PBP. Another PB. A forest. Training for the olympics.
http://challengemenace.blogspot.com/2015/04/no-pbp-another-pb-forest-training-for.html
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino! I dunno why anybody's doing this'. Saturday, 18 April 2015. No PBP. Another PB. A forest. Training for the olympics. Today I did not ride my planned PBP 300k qualifying event. There went my plans for PBP. Not to worry, I successfully completed same in 2011. I've got the medal. I haven't got the shirt though because I gave that to Chris. Phil Brown was running today too which was nice. He also achieved a PB and felt I had inspired him to do so. SJ running the London Marathon.
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino!: June 2014
http://challengemenace.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tim Tom's Time To Think Turino! I dunno why anybody's doing this'. Saturday, 28 June 2014. Did not post anything over past couple of weeks because I was away on my family holiday. Had a lovely time in Charmouth despite not riding a bike at all! Managed to complete a series of 5k runs, however, as depicted by the GPX track logs below. I dunno, but will post about same somewhere in time. Whilst away, I also swam a little. Oh, I did enjoy my holiday! Sadly, work resumes next week. Friday, 13 June 2014.

Balancing on Two Feet | A journey of learning to LIVE life!
Balancing on Two Feet. July 22, 2011 · 9:07 am. What does this word evoke in you? For most of my life,. The word or concept has created a knot in the pit of my stomach and one that wasn’t easily undone. Seemed to compound upon. And each knot drew tighter around the previous. It almost seemed as if there wasn’t a way to begin to undo all these knots, so why even try? However inside this tangle of life, existed a determined soul. I was going to deal with this whole. Thing Life couldn’t go on this way...

Balancing Paleo | Living, loving and laughing my way towards a balanced paleo life.
Living, loving and laughing my way towards a balanced paleo life. Whole 30 – 45. Whole45 – Day 45. So I missed my goal of 45 days and I realized that a few more days of not blogging were going by. Even when I came back to Whole30 eating, I was still avoiding blogging. And then it occurred to me. I didn’t want to blog again because I was worried what you all would think of me. Shame. Worry. Embarrassment. So a few things to consider:. If perfection is my goal, I will never attain it. Get over it. I went i...
