Kayak for the fun of it! I've had the pleasure of meeting many skilled kayakers that have mentored and given me guidance over the years. As I became more aware of what I didn't know in being a skilled paddler, I took advantage of going to 3-day kayak symposiums in Muskegon, Michigan, hosted by the Western Michigan Costal Kayakers Association. Paper, Cards, Ornaments - Mahon Design

Paper making is a time-intensive but simple process. Here is a brief description of the steps I follow. I begin with a large vat of water mixed with pulp (cotton fiber). Adding a variety of inclusions made from natural materials (grass, leaves, vines, flower petals and ferns) to other items including silk, polyester threads, Xerox images, glitter and newspaper, different papers can be created. Once the pulp is mixed with the inclusions the next step begins. Note cards are 3” x 5”, each.
