Balchis, homeward bound. Moved from Mahon to Fornells on the 28th - very wet but managed to sail (very slowly) after the first 2 hours on motor. Now in Mahon (Mon 19th) for about a week – we have managed to negotiate a berth at the Sunseaker berths (because it’s off-season) – so it’s great to be in the middle of the city (for a decent price) and we’ll be able to see most of the sights from here. Balchis, homeward bound. 24th Feb 2009 - Long-awaited Update. 8221; The good news was that it wasn’t a burst pipe in the heat-exchanger – just the ‘Jubilee’ clips on the end connectors - 45 minutes and the engine was back in action. 23rd – walked to Quarteira, about 3km away and will do the same tomorrow to see the Carnaval parade. Balchis, homeward bound. 27th March 2009. Lagos. Now that the days are a bit brighter and warmer we feel a bit more inclined to get a couple more jobs done – polishing the topsides and making a permanent bracket for the ‘Tiller-Pilot’ to operate the wind steering rudder. Balchis, homeward bound. 21st Aug 2008 (a short update). Now back in Ibiza after working our way clockwise round Mallorca from Pollensa to near Palma then an overnight sail to San Antoni. Have met up with Charlie and Alison (Breagh) and will probably head back to the mainland near the end of the month. It was also amazing the difference the spare parts made when fitted to the pump - those interested in the technicalities can ask me for the details.
