Blue Percent: June 2009
http://tylerdomske.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
The musings and time wastings of tyler. Friday, June 26, 2009. Walking on the Moon. This is a blog that I wrote on June 23, 2008:. A few months ago, XM was playing a channel that was all Michael Jackson, all the time, for a month, in honor of Thriller's 25th anniversary. I then went on a Michael Jackson binge for a while, which was recently resurged. I have realized that every single Michael Jackson song eventually devolves into gibberish. Example: the end of "Black or White" finds MJ singing. That goes ...

The musings and time wastings of tyler. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. After five months of being a dad, I have realized something that no one told me: this is easy. Months and months of advice and coaching as to how life was going to be once we had this baby never told it straight: this is easy. Posted by Tyler "The Blade" Domske. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Blue Percent: Mission Trip Musings
http://tylerdomske.blogspot.com/2010/07/mission-trip-musings.html
The musings and time wastings of tyler. Friday, July 2, 2010. Last Sunday, I returned from a week in Chicago with 26 others on our youth group's Mission Trip. Here are some things that I learned this year on the trip:. People from North Carolina are crazy for 7-Eleven. Desperately crazy. I am crazy for Jamba Juice. I already knew that, but it was nicely supported on this trip. Toy Story 3 is an amazing movie, even when seeing it with a theater full of 300 elementary kids. There is a Target in Chicago.

Blue Percent: July 2009
http://tylerdomske.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
The musings and time wastings of tyler. Thursday, July 16, 2009. Adrien and I were talking last night about how much we love our dog, McFly. We've had McFly for about 10 months, and he has his annoying moments, but ultimately, he's an awesome dog. He meets my basic requirements of an awesome dog: he doesn't lick you in the face, he's not big enough to jump up and look you in the eye, and he can catch a frisbee. I prefer Pepsi over Coke (though mainly drink diet now, and am not too discriminant). I prefer...

Blue Percent: Back Home Again (and the Prodigal God)
http://tylerdomske.blogspot.com/2010/10/back-home-again-and-prodigal-god.html
The musings and time wastings of tyler. Friday, October 1, 2010. Back Home Again (and the Prodigal God). I have been on a long hiatus from the good old blog. I now announce (as have so many times before) my return. So here is day one of the return to the blog. So anyway, here you go - my thoughts (and Tim Keller's), both of which are not really ours, but God's - on The Prodigal:. Jesus continued: "There was a man who had two sons. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. He ran to his son, threw his ...

Blue Percent: When we are not the church...
http://tylerdomske.blogspot.com/2010/10/when-we-are-not-church.html
The musings and time wastings of tyler. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. When we are not the church. The following is part of the end of a sermon that I preached this past Sunday. I would argue that we are not often actually "the church" - the Body of Christ in the world - but are more often simply a group of people who gather together each week. More like a social club then followers of a world changing Christ. It leads us to the difficult, yet frankly vital question we must ask ourselves. But that also means ...

The musings and time wastings of tyler. Friday, October 29, 2010. After many years here at Blogspot, I've moved to another blog site. Blogspot is nice, but I'm trying something new. This is rough at first, but then we see that Job relents at the end, and says "Therefore, I despise myself and repent in dust and a...
