Gabriel's trip around the Pacific on Bicoque! Thursday, 28 April 2011. Yesterday we wanted to see petroglyphs but we didn't. First we went everywhere asking where the petroglyphs were. Instead of seeing the petroglyphs we went to a man's garden. He gave us coconuts with bananas. It was delicious! Then we had sour passion fruit. They were too soury but alright. He gave us a lot of fruit including a big bunch of bananas to hang on the boat! It was great fun. Wednesday, 27 April 2011. Turtle in the water.

Gabriel's trip around the Pacific on Bicoque! Wednesday, 9 November 2011. We are now in New Caledonia that is a French island. New Caledonia is not an independant country. Noumea is the biggest town of New Caledonia and we have some family in the suburb of Noumea. We went for a long walk along the Madeleine river. We went for a swim in a river and a picnic with friends. At the marina we met a boat with kids called Histoire damour, that wehad already met in Port Vila (Vanuatu).What a great time!

Then we went to a place the adults called Aquarium next to the beach. Once I was in the water I felt free. Next I got back in the boat and there was bread amd I threw it on my dad. Gabriel's trip around the Pacific on Bicoque! Friday, 21 October 2011. We arrived in Nasawa in the afternoon. We asked where the chief was. We met the chied and he said his name was Jonas. Then we went to a French school from Year 1 to Year 8. I ate a nakafica while we visited the school. A French man called Pierrick was teaching French to years 7 and 8.
