The village itself has a population of about 1000 people, 2 shops, 3 Public Houses, post office, petrol pumps and a Roman Catholic Church. We are surrounded by a selection of beautiful beaches the nearest is called Ring Strand and is about 2 Km from us, Knockadoon Geal Scoil is approximately 5 km away. On arrival, complimentary tea/coffee will be served. Breakfast can be served at anytime between 7am and 11 am, with a choice of full Irish or Continental Breakfast, light lunches and evening meals are available on request. Baby sitting facilities are available also by prior arrangement. There is live entertainment every weekend in Finns Tavern, which is just a two minute walk . Mass times are at 8.00 pm on Saturday Evenings, and 8.00 and 11.00 am on Sunday Mornings. Doctor also in the area.

In Finns Tavern next door you can enjoy a quiet drink during the week and on weekend there is live music. They cater for large/small private parties. Tea/Coffee ,Soup and Sandwiches are available all day. There is a beautiful beer garden at the rear of the premises, to facilitate the smokers and in the summer they have barbeques most weekends.
