Monday, May 30, 2011. Last Tuesday we went for a walk to Eden Park to find out all about statistics and numbers. We were able to go into the changing rooms, we walked down the players' tunnel nearly onto the field, which looked like beautiful green carpet, and up into the coach's box. The torch 'lighting' ceremony. Ready to go in the kayak/show jumping event. Here we are in the dress up/run/kick relay. Working hard in the Chariot -Nerf -Gun version of Rob The Nest. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. After a long wait, and lots of time finding out how to scare the birds away, yesterday we harvested vegetables from our garden. We got beetroot, carrots, spinach, broccoli, lettuce, celery and spring onions. It was very exciting! We are still waiting for our broad beans and sugar snaps. Saturday, 19 April 2014. Easter in New York 2. What a difference a week can make. Lots of sunshine, warmer temperatures and presto! Central Park's crocus are gone, replaced by swathes of daffodils and bluebells. The magnolias are in full bloom…. Even some of the cherry trees are in blossom. New Yorkers are out in force, enjoying the optimism of Spring. I'm finally heading home, all the way to Adelaide to spend precious moments with my family. Wishing everyone a very happy Easter!
