Milton's Manor: June 2012
http://miltonsmanor.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 25 June 2012. My Grandma Peterka was known for her artistic abilities. She was a regular painter of greeting cards and also made and painted ceramics. When she passed away a few years ago, I asked my aunt if she had left any paintings behind, but she wasn't sure. I was thrilled when she showed up to see me this morning with a great big stack of them! Here are a few of my favourites:. CORRECTION: It was my GREAT grandma who was born in Germany, not my grandma! So Long Tampa. Hello Cincinnati!

Deciduous Dryad: October 2014
http://deciduousdryad.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. I love to sing, but I'm terrified of being judged. This means I frequently sing along to music when I'm cooking or driving alone, because no one's really listening. I sing folk songs to myself while gardening or shoveling snow. I sing a little with and for my young person. I have sung in public off and on all my life, but it's very difficult for me. I perform better as part of a group, because I have to commit to it, and I'm not alone up there, either. Anachronism, though, there...
