Watercolor by Design: 5th Arr.
http://paulafiebich.blogspot.com/2014/03/5th-arr.html
Sunday, March 9, 2014. When traveling through France last year, I am continuing my series of paintings from that experience. This is one from the city of Paris! Found this interesting Parisian street art when wandering into the Rue de la Huchette area located in the 5th Arrondissement; hence the title of the painting 5th Arr or 5th Arrondissement. A passer-by taking time to stop and look. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe To My Blog. About Me Paula Fiebich. View my complete profile. 8212;Exhi...

Watercolor by Design: September 2007
http://paulafiebich.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 29, 2007. Guess what these are? Links to this post. Ever been to a caribbean island? This painting is from a photo I took while in St. Maarten and this street scene is of Phillipsburg on the dutch side of the island. Whether it is because of the different subject or because it is taken from a photo, my watercolor technique looks different. Does it look like an original Paula Fiebich? That is the question. You send me your comments. Links to this post. Links to this post. Today, I am h...

Watercolor by Design: Lot Gourmand
http://paulafiebich.blogspot.com/2014/01/lot-gourmand.html
Sunday, January 19, 2014. Here is another painting in my series from France. I am showing how it was developed. The area of "Lot" is the name of the region where the Village of Sarlat is located. This was a merchant selling local delicacies. Next door to his stand is a shop selling bolts of material. I thought it made for an interesting painting showing the typical scenes of the village. http://paulafiebich.blogspot.com/2014/10/new-painting-not-revealed.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. New Painting Not Revealed! I have decided to not reveal the full image of the painting just yet! The size of this painting is "22x30" done on Cheap Joe's Kilimanjaro watercolor paper which I happen to use quite frequently now. I will show the complete painting in due time. Or maybe I will cave and post it anyway. I like to get feedback from other artists which is always interesting and informative. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe To My Blog. Watercolor by Design: Traditions du Perigord
http://paulafiebich.blogspot.com/2015/06/traditions-du-perigord.html
Saturday, June 20, 2015. This is my last painting in my series of scenes from the quaint, medieval villages I had the opportunity to visit on a trip to the southwest region of France. My goal was to try to capture the texture in watercolor of the buildings that dated way back to 15th century or was it 16th century? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe To My Blog. Thursday, October 11, 2007. Saveurs de la Provence". I wanted the viewer to feel like they just stepped into a French dining room in Provence. I found a fun webcam linked to a French bakery in Paris. It shows them making the breads in their ovens. The site is: www.siteparc.fr/bonneau/webcam.htm. Links to this post. Labels: south of France. Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Links to this post. Watercolor by Design: December 2007
http://paulafiebich.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 4, 2007. The editior's note on page 4 has a quote from yours truly in her column. Everything is absolutely true and now I know where I stand in the international art world. This year has been the most transitional year of my life in a very good and yet sometimes unsure way. I guess that is what change is all about. Good things can happen when you least expect them. The Sabbatical Daily Journal. Looking Towards the Setting Sun. So many memories…. Eighteen years ago. All that time and it still feels like yesterday. All that time has passed, yet is still feel like yesterday. So many things in my daily life still trigger memories that make me reminisce about that short trip all those years ago. Screen shot from Multitrack DAW. And a mic would go everywhere with me. These days though, it’s not as simple, yet it is at the same time. The last time I went out and recorded ...
