Richmond Daily Photo: Richmond's Carillon
http://richmonddailyphoto.blogspot.com/2006/02/richmonds-carillon.html
Monday, February 20, 2006. Richmond features a beautiful 240 foot carillon. In Dogwood Dell near Byrd Park. This is a through and through shot from the right hand side (here is a full-size picture of the Carillon). It was built as a tribute to WWI men and servicewomen comissioned by the Virginia General Assembly between 1924-1928. A 4th of July celebration and weddings. Posted by mea at 12:20 PM. Richmond Daily Photo: Avalon
http://richmonddailyphoto.blogspot.com/2006/05/avalon.html
Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Take a guess as to what this might be? I really like the reflection in the window because it gives a perfect sense of the neighborhood atmosphere that surrounds the Fan District (my favorite part of Richmond- although I might be a bit prejudiced). Don't they do great window vignettes? They added that during renovations a few years ago. Oh, still curious? It's actually a great little restaurant and bar right down the street from Black Swan books. Posted by mea at 5:18 PM. Looking ...

Richmond Daily Photo: An American Afternoon
http://richmonddailyphoto.blogspot.com/2006/05/american-afternoon.html
Wednesday, May 17, 2006. It's a shame the middle of this picture is a bit washed out, but this is a typical afternoon in my neighborhood: people walking their dogs and chatting up wide sidewalks of tree-lined streets. Nope, you don't have to remind me why I love Richmond! Posted by mea at 9:22 PM. Posted at 5:06 AM. That picture makes your street seem so peaceful. Posted at 6:16 PM. Nice and sunny afternoon. Posted at 12:38 AM. Viewing your blog, I can see why you love Richmond. It looks ideal!

Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Heading west, here you are on the I-195/The Downtown Expressway reaching a critical question: Southside or West End? It does of course mean you're leaving the best part of Richmond (in my opinion): The Fan. Posted by mea at 9:17 PM. Posted at 5:10 AM. That is very cool. Um. How did you take this picture? It looks like you're flying! Posted at 9:38 PM. Good to see roads without traffic.here in Manila even expressways have traffic! Posted at 10:45 AM. Posted at 1:41 PM. Bloomington, ...

Richmond Daily Photo: Do "Yamin" It, Richmond?
http://richmonddailyphoto.blogspot.com/2006/05/do-yamin-it-richmond.html
Friday, May 12, 2006. Do "Yamin" It, Richmond? Richmond is absolutely crazy for its very first American Idol, Elliott Yamin! Yesterday, Fox flew Elliott back into town to visit family and spread some hometown love. He was on the radio yesterday morning then yesterday afternoon they lead a parade up the Boulevard from the Carillon. To the Diamond where he sang the anthem and threw out the game's first pitch. Posted by mea at 10:40 PM. Posted at 11:14 AM. Amusing to see all of that, or just plain sad?
