Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Litchfield 2015, Part 2. Thursday, our beach day started out like this:. Nate wanted to get buried in the sand, and soon Abby and Anderson followed suit! Poppy is the King of Kites, and has passed his love for them onto the grandkids. They had so much fun flying the kites and running in circles like little puppies! Love Poppy cheering them on here. Mommy helped them build a "village". Abby loves to take selfies! Or just be in pictures in general :). Anderson won $10 though :).

Thursday, September 25, 2014. My mom's birthday is in April, and the only thing she's asked for for about the last 10 years is to have a weekend away with her girls. Fortunately, we've been able to make this happen 7 out of the last 10 years! Babies kinda got in the way there for a little bit :). So, as a belated birthday present for Mom, we rented a cottage on Lake Norman (which is outside Charlotte, NC). I flew into Charlotte last Friday and was greeted by Bec's new car and bunch of smiling faces!

Sunday, April 26, 2015. Nate's class took their 2nd field trip of the year to Shark Tooth Creek on Friday! I was lucky enough to tag along, with about 30 other parents. (No joke - in both of the first grade classes, there are around 34 kids. There were only 3 kids that did not have a parent come. And some kids had BOTH parents! I love Nate's school.). We were getting the house ready to put on the market and then the good Lord blessed us with multiple offers a few days later. We are VERY thankful our house sold so quickly! Jason turned six months on the 20th, and he is acting like it, too. He is sitting up unassisted, drinking from a sippy cup, eating real oatmeal and lots of purred fruits and veggies, and beginning to feed himself Cheerios. His sleep is improving. He is so happy and social! He has four teeth, weighs 18 lbs 8 ounces, and is 25 5/8 inches long! Slow down, big boy!
