Little party at home. Sweet girl with her presents! Her new Minnie Mouse Car! The cupcake was a success! Most of it ended up in her hair and on the floor.. Today, I took Avery for her 1 year checkup with Dr. Farmer. She did great considering she was really sleepy. She got 4 shots and a toe prick. yuck! Weight: 22 lbs 5 oz. Avery is wearing a size 5 shoe! Goodness. :) She wearing a size 3 diaper. Wearing size 12-18 month clothes. She growing like a weed! We turned her front facing in her carseat!

On Labor Day we made a concerted effort to give our new lawn a much needed boost. The back yard had to be leveled and after the weeds were killed off, it was a bare, blank, dirt slate. The guy helping us load the verticut machine at the hardware store. Said we wouldn't get anything to grow this time of year. Au contraire mon fraire! We have already had to mow it twice!
