Tonight we celebrated the time that both Steve and Pam served in Bangladesh. Pam was already gone, but we enjoyed listening to Steve reflect on his experiences here. What a great difference their presence has made in Bangladesh. Steve and I compared our heights. The bideshi ladies pose with nice smiles. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Journey So Far. Today I met some kind folks that belong to the adivasi (indigenous) people group, Tripura. I found love in their smiles. Just right there, in their smiles. Today Liam meets Aunt Sara. I truly felt like I was right there in the hospital room with them. I was even technically the first in the fam to meet sweet Liam! Thank you, Skype. Seriously. August 25, 2011. Liam Sheppard Enger is born! What an amazing and blessed day. I am happy to celebrate my second nephew born into the world. The Journey So Far.

Danielle Hutlas: Day 143: Hair & Bibles
http://hutlasproject365.blogspot.com/2010/10/day-143-hair-bibles.html
Saturday, October 16, 2010. Day 143: Hair and Bibles. Today I got a fancy new haircut. Then I butchered a Bible. It's not as bad as it sounds. I promise. Bible Study had a Great Divide Party where we cut up large print Bibles into sections then rebound them with fun printed folders. The idea is to make reading the Bible not seem so overwhelming. All those ladies who read it cover to cover by September will be treated to lunch at the Sun Dial restaurant. Wish me luck! Project 365 - Danielle Hutlas.

A Day at Sonagon. A day of textures, colors and being witness to the blending of old and new. The Other Side of the Tracks. Perhaps a universal socioeconomic divider. Some interesting sort of creature I managed to record before the day ended. :). It was superb conversations, and laughs, of course. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Journey So Far.
