The functional pottery of Liz Bermel. If you’re not a potter, or you’re a new potter, it’s helpful when reading about pottery to have a list of vocabulary handy and alphabetized. Well, now you do! Artist Statement | Eilís Pottery
https://eilispottery.wordpress.com/about
The functional pottery of Liz Bermel. Working with clay is, for me, a spiritual experience as necessary as breathing. I use very few tools; moulding the piece with my own bare hands creates a deeper connection between me and my work, giving it the opportunity to evolve and grow organically. In this way, my emotions and disposition are revealed through my work and the resulting texture helps the pieces to take on a life of their own. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
