We had lunch at the original Farmers’ Market which consisted of a delicious grilled cheese sandwich at Short Cake. 1) Make a half recipe of your favorite Challah. Dough, using about 3 1/2 – 4 cups flour. (Click on the link for my recipe). 2) Mix dough and allow to rise at room temperature till double in bulk. While dough is rising, make sugar and cinnamon combination. 9) Allow to rise for about 2 hours.

As we headed North on route 395 we started reminiscing about all the years we had spent vacationing in Mammoth. We had gone during the summer, but loved it most during the winter. We had stayed in various hotels, motels and condos, until we discovered Tamarack Lodge. What does all of this have to do with Pesach? These are prefect for an easy Pesach lunch or dinner. They are great with tomato basil salad.
