My mother died on July 14, 2008 at the age of 54. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in the ER one year and five months prior to that. She smoked cigarettes for 41 years. I miss her terribly. Her illness and death have had an interesting impact on my relationship with food. I am only recently coming to a place where I am able to deal with losing her. And in that way, I can never repay her and I can only emulate her. I am my mother’s daughter and I’m so glad that I always will be. Enter your comment here.
