I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic and am now on Benedryl 24/7 for the rash. That means no driving yet. My poor Mini Sylvie must be lonely in the garage by herself. ;-). My journey to a Size 12! OR How I got banded! Saturday, August 23, 2014. I haven't posted in a while. Things have been going OK. I hadn't been losing more weight- the last 15-20 pounds- but I wasn't gaining. My exercise plan was working- Pilates, walk/run, walking several times a week, and more. My journey to a Size 12! OR How I got banded! Monday, June 18, 2012. I did another walk/run this morning. About 3.5 miles and 60 minutes of activity. About one third of my steps were "running" according to my Striiv. A few notes to myself:. 1 Find something to keep the sweat out of my eyes. 2 Gotta get clothes that are a bit less in coverage, more absorbent, and thus, less hot! 4 Get air in my bike tires so I can ride my bike! Which is what I had planned to do this morning. 5 Consider sunglasses and a hat.

My journey to a Size 12! OR How I got banded! Wednesday, November 30, 2011. I just had my second fill, and a bit of chastisement as well. Seems I've been creeping up on my food portions and pushing the boundaries. I lost another 5 pounds in the last 5 weeks which is OK but on the slow side of weight loss. So, a big reminder to eat smaller portions, eat slow, chew well, and don't go for the 'can't eat another bite' feeling. What I need most to do is exercise! I want to do this well and I want to succeed!

Monday, July 19, 2010. Getting Banded In A Few Hours! It's almost here, literally! Well I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous, but it's not too bad. I have to report to the hospital (Fountain Valley Regional) in about 5 1/2 hours, I'm being banded by Dr.Kelly Francis.
