Ashley Lin: July 2013
http://ashleylintolman.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 30, 2013. A couple friends recently suggested that they'd love to just see what I'm making for dinner each night. So I thought I'd give you a sneak peak into my dinner system. I wish I was a better meal planner. This post will reveal how poorly I plan these things out! I read about people with weekly, even monthly, meal plans, and I marvel at it. It takes the guess work out of cooking and shopping, and completely obliterates the question of "what should I make for dinner tonight? Or, I see ...

Ashley Lin: March is for New Things
http://ashleylintolman.blogspot.com/2014/03/march-is-for-new-things.html
Wednesday, March 5, 2014. March is for New Things. I think anyone who reads this blog already knows that we bought a house. But we did! We closed a week ago today, and got the keys on Friday. It feels really surreal so far. Each time I pull into the driveway to bring in more boxes, it seems both more and less familiar to me. "This place is ours," I keep reminding myself. But it doesn't FEEL like ours yet. It doesn't have our furniture or our smell or our personal touches. But I'm sure going to miss bakin...

Ashley Lin: September 2013
http://ashleylintolman.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 12, 2013. Here's my thought process on blog posting over the course of four to five weeks:. I should post on my blog.". Oh, I actually have nothing interesting to say, never mind.". Hmm, it's been a while, I should really update the blog.". I guess I could post about so-and-so upcoming event.". Nah, I'll wait until that gets a little closer.". Well, that event has passed, but I don't have time right now because this is coming up this weekend.". Oh, and also we went birthday weekend ca...

Jakeica: 04/10

I love my wife. The Book of Mormon. I wish words could do a better job at describing a feeling. Much like a taste or a sound, feeling is arbitrary and after the volumes that have been written about experiencing God through the Holy Ghost, it is safe to say that one must come in contact with that feeling personally in order to full grasp the complexly simply peace that comes from our Heavenly Father. The spirit. It is direct communication from our Father. Labels: The Book of Mormon.
