Friday, March 16, 2012. We are in that stage of the year when you have some spring days and some days that are more like winter still. We take advantage of every beautiful day and play outside! Connor especially has been loving his swing and just giggles every time he is in it. I have to say that I am really looking forward to our Phoenix assignment, but I am really going to miss the gorgeous seasons of Italy. :( Here are a few pictures of our outside play time! Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Well it wasn't a day off of school, but it was a great Snow Day for the kids! We woke up to snow one Sunday morning and immediately got our snow clothes on and headed out to play while it lasted! We made snow angels and little snow men and had snow ball fights! Thursday, February 10, 2011. Ljubljana, Slovenia and Atlantis Water Park. When the boys are away the girls must play.with the children that is. We took a little overnight trip that included 7 women and 10 children! We drove to Ljubjana in Slovenia to spend the night and take the kids to the Atlantis Water Park. Thursday, July 21, 2011. We took Stephanie and Jessica on quite the tour of Italy! We left our house on Friday morning and drove to Siena. Connor was NOT a fan of riding in the car, but we hung in there and arrived at our beautiful bed and breakfast in Siena! We hiked up into town for some sightseeing, gelato, and dinner. Friday, March 16, 2012. Let the birthdays roll on! Up next was my big 8 year old! I can't believe my first baby boy is already 8! Austin makes me smile every day! I cannot even express how proud I am of him! I am proud of his strength for dealing with the every day stress of your daddy being a fighter pilot and I am proud of his hard work in school where he is learning new things every day! I am also so proud of what an amazing big brother he is to his little sister and baby brother! It's a dogs life.

Friday, March 16, 2012. Chad had a pretty uneventful birthday this year! We were having an "exercise" week on base. This usually means busy schedules and working really strange hours. The week started off with him working kind of a night schedule and progressed into days as the week went on. So, needless to say we didn't have a normal day! You get better every year! Monday, June 27, 2011. Connor at 2 months old! Now that Connor is almost 3 months old I figured I better get his 2 month pictures posted! He is getting so big and chubby! He is very snuggly and a great sleeper. At this point he pretty regularly sleeping through the night and that is a great relief! I don't think I have slept this well since before I was pregnant! Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Our time in Italy is growing short and according to me we need to fit in everything we possibly can this year! That means traveling and sightseeing even when it's freezing and it definitely was on the day we drove to Verona. We are trying to do as many little driving in one day trips as we can because wheter we go somewhere for a week or a night it seems that a lot of packing and stress is involved! The day started off really foggy and really COLD! Austin in the Roman Forum.
