I returned to running in January of 2009 and started Crossfit on April 4, 2009. I am trying to find a balance between the two. It is hard for this mother of three to balance it all, but I find much joy in the time spent with "the girls" running and crossfitting. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Push ups-dips-push press (45 lbs)-and sit ups (13:40). Warm up stretching and cooldown. Felt really draggy from yesterdays run. 20 minutes as many rounds as possible. 5 pullups 10 push ups and 15 body squats. March 6, 2011.

Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Morning: 7 sprints 200 yards with last 90 up hill and two and a half to three minutes recovery. Sprinted past the bridge to the top of the trees on the way home for good measure. Started with heavy bench with a chain. Friday, June 10, 2016. Monday: Early morning sprints, Weight training (chest and back). Tuesday: Crossfit I would love to do a workout with Cross country. Good day for long walk. This is physical games, with our kids, with anyone. Also this would be a day for off the wall different workouts using chains or speed ropes, it would be a great day to take the family to the lake and swim. Just a fun day with a physical goal. Thursday: Early morning sprints, Weight training (legs and low back). 88 grams of fat.

Polar Bear Run tuck jumps, box jumps, and kb swings. 5:45am Polar Bear Run. 303 miles time 28.45. Mile splits (9:57, 9:17, 8:50) must have taken me a while to warm up. Came home and completed Crossfit in the backyard.

I was back on the farm yesterday and did this:. 220 x 5 (had to break up). Bench was just not there. I had 2 and a half hours sleep the day before and a 12 hour car ride and I think I was just drained. I was supposed to do 270 x 1 for the power matrix and I just knew I did not have it. I never have trouble with the last set and I even had to break it up. We have a re...

Friday, June 10, 2016. First workout post in I don't know how long. Yesterday was leg day and this is how it went. Morning: 6 sprints 165yards with the last 90 up hill with 2:30 rest finished with one sprint from my bridge to the top of my drive for good measure. Warm up was 4x10 log chain box jumps on the tallest box. Added a 25# bumper plate on last two sets for height.
