Turning myself back into a runner has been a sweaty, heart-pounding, noisy affair. While I certainly have endurance, running is much harder work than hiking. Since the New Year, I have been huffing and puffing my way around the trails of Banff with a big smile on my face. Moments running, than I ever do hiking. While hiking you always get lots of Ooo! Wanting to take advantage of this sunny April day, John chose a trail that promised big views - Hardy Ridge, on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. I'd hiked Hardy Ridge for the first time last June. John gets up close and personal with a flower. UPF (unidentified purple flower).
